Οne of the most popular starting points sailing in Greece, is Attica. It offers many luxurious marinas, with high quality services, such as Marina Zea, the Athens Marina and the marina of Flisvos -which can even accommodate super yacht-, like the marina of Alimos -which is the basis for most charter boats.

On the east side, Lavrion, there is the Olympic Marine which has extensive facilities for sailing. Sailing Yacht Chartering is very common to the tourists of Greece,  and there are too many options to sail with crew or bareboat, with small yachts or large. The sailing boat circumnavigate to the volcano and back, on the vertical volcanic rocks, villages getting as white lava. Fira, Firostefani, Imerovigli, Oia. The myth of lost Atlantis, the Old and New Kameni. The destruction and regeneration. Private dinners overlooking the volcano, the wines from the volcanic vineyard, high gastronomy, luxury to the fullest. But also the Cape(akrotiri), the most famous prehistoric settlement in the Aegean, volcanic beaches, the caves.
